Itinerary

    • Accommodation:

      Overnight in Kathmandu.

    • Altitude:

      1,400M

    • Arrive in Kathmandu. Transfer to hotel and tour briefing.
       

    • Accommodation:

      Overnight in Kathmandu.

    • Visit UNESCO World Heritage Sites – Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, and Swayambhunath.

    • Accommodation:

      Overnight in Syabrubesi.

    • Altitude:

      1,460M

    • Drive through scenic mountain roads to the Nepal–Tibet border town.
       

    • Accommodation:

      Overnight in Kerung.

    • Altitude:

      2,700M

    • Cross the border and complete immigration formalities. Continue to Kerung.

    • Accommodation:

      Overnight in Kerung.

    • Rest and short hikes around Kerung for acclimatization.

    • Accommodation:

      Overnight in Saga.

    • Altitude:

       4,640M

    • Drive across high passes and vast Tibetan plains to Saga.

    • Accommodation:

      Overnight at Chiu Gompa near Manasarovar.

    • Altitude:

       4,560M

    • Scenic drive with views of Mount Kailash and Gurla Mandhata. Ritual bath and meditation at the holy lake.

    • Accommodation:

      Overnight in Darchen.

       

    • Altitude:

       4,575M

    • Drive to the base town of Mount Kailash. Preparation for the Kora (circumambulation).

    • Accommodation:

      Overnight in Dirapuk.

    • Altitude:

      4,900M

    • Start the Kailash Kora (52 km). Trek along the Lha Chu Valley to Dirapuk, with the north face of Mount Kailash in full view.

    • Accommodation:

      Overnight in Zuthulpuk.

    • Cross Dolma La Pass, the highest point of the trek — a sacred experience. Descend to Zuthulpuk.

    • Accommodation:

      Overnight in Saga.

    • Finish the final part of the Kailash circuit and drive back to Saga.
       

    • Accommodation:

      Overnight in Kerung.

    • Return journey across the high plateau to Kerung.

    • Accommodation:

      Overnight in Kathmandu.

    • Cross the border back into Nepal and continue to Kathmandu.

    • Transfer to the airport for your onward journey.
