Itinerary

    • Accommodation:

      Overnight in Gangtok.

      • Fly from Kathmandu to Bagdogra Airport (India).

      • Meet local guide and drive to Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim (approx. 5–6 hrs drive).

      • Evening stroll around MG Marg market.

      Overnight in Gangtok.

      • Breakfast at hotel.

      • Visit Rumtek Monastery, Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, and Tashi View Point.

      • Trek briefing and equipment check.

    • Accommodation:

      Overnight in Yuksom.

    • Altitude:

      • Drive through scenic tea gardens and forests to Yuksom, the historic first capital of Sikkim (approx. 6–7 hrs).

      • Evening at leisure in the small mountain town.

    • Accommodation:

      Overnight in Tshoka (trekking lodge).

    • Altitude:

      3000M

      • Trek begins!

      • Walk through dense forests of magnolia and rhododendron, crossing hanging bridges over rivers.

      • Trek time: 6–7 hrs.

    • Accommodation:

      Overnight in Dzongri.

    • Altitude:

       3,950M

      • Steady climb through alpine forests and meadows.

      • Spectacular views of Pandim and Kanchenjunga ranges appear.

      • Trek time: 6 hrs.

    • Accommodation:

      Overnight in Dzongri.

      • Early morning hike to Dzongri Top (4,200 m) for panoramic sunrise views of Kanchenjunga (8,586 m) and neighboring peaks.

      • Rest and acclimatization day.

    • Accommodation:

      Overnight in Thangsing.

      • Descend through meadows and forests, then climb gently along the Prek Chu River.

      • Trek time: 5–6 hrs.

    • Accommodation:

      Overnight in Lamuney.

      • Short, gradual trek along the valley with views of Mt. Pandim and Tinchenkhang.

      • Prepare for the next day’s early hike to Goecha La.

      • Trek time: 3–4 hrs.

      Overnight in Thangsing.

    • Altitude:

      • Early morning trek (around 3 AM) to Goecha La Pass, viewpoint for Kanchenjunga’s south face.

      • Enjoy sunrise over the majestic peaks.

      • Descend back to Thangsing for the night.

      • Trek time: 8–9 hrs.

    • Accommodation:

      Overnight in Tshoka.

      • Retrace steps down to Tshoka, passing through Dzongri.

      • Trek time: 6–7 hrs.

    • Accommodation:

      Overnight in Yuksom.

      • Final day of trekking.

      • Descend through lush forest and cross several suspension bridges back to Yuksom.

      • Trek time: 5–6 hrs.

      • Celebration dinner with your trekking team.

      Overnight in Pelling.

       2,150M

      • Drive to Pelling, a quiet hill town with close views of Kanchenjunga.

      • Visit Pemayangtse Monastery and Rabdentse Ruins.

    • Accommodation:

      Overnight near Bagdogra or Siliguri.

      • Drive back to Bagdogra Airport (approx. 7 hrs).

    • Breakfast and transfer to airport for flight to Kathmandu.
